After breakfast, leave Kandy and travel towards the spectacular mountain region of Ella.

Upon arrival in Ella, continue to the famous Nine Arch Bridge.

Udawalawe National Park Safari Enjoy a wildlife safari by 4WD jeep through Udawalawe National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s best-known wildlife destinations.
The park is particularly famous for its large population of wild elephants. During the safari, you may also encounter water buffalo, spotted deer, sambar, wild boar, crocodiles, monkeys and many species of birds.
Travel through the park’s grasslands, forests and wetlands while your safari driver helps you look for wildlife in its natural environment.
Elephant Transit Home Continue to the Elephant Transit Home, a rehabilitation centre for orphaned and injured young elephants.
Here you can observe the baby elephants during their milk-feeding sessions and learn how they are cared for and rehabilitated. The ultimate aim is to prepare suitable elephants for release back into the wild.
Galle Dutch Fort Continue towards the southern coast and visit the historic Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Walk along the ancient fort ramparts overlooking the Indian Ocean and explore the charming colonial streets, historic buildings, churches, cafés and small boutiques.
The fort combines Sri Lanka’s fascinating history with beautiful ocean scenery and is a wonderful place to finish the day.
